Fall In Love with Learning

Falling In Love with Learning will look different for each individual who is on their journey to find, or has already found, their joy in learning.

This blog is meant to encourage the parents (teachers, guardians, grandparents, octopuses, aliens, etc.) to stop focusing on school-based learning / heavy curriculum and start “FILL“ing your child(ren) with love, passion, excitement, and adventure and watch them Fall In Love with Learning!

We will be centering our attention on child-led learning (unschooling, wild + Free, road-schooling, world-schooling, etc.) while still dipping our toes in “light curriculum”. We invite you to follow along with our family’s adventures and share some of your own. Once your students have tasted the joy of learning, their education will blossom into a beautiful and expansive field of personalized topics they are truly interested in.

Through inspirational stories, creative ideas, and a unique perspective on homeschooling I hope you and your child(ren) find your love of learning.

Why Follow My Advice?

The point of FILL is to engage more in learning, even as educators. That being said, I don’t believe you should blindly follow my advice. Instead, you should familiarize yourself with as much knowledge of homeschooling as possible. Then you will have the correct tools to decide for yourself: what makes more sense, who is more credible, and most importantly what path works best for you and your child?

Why Did I Start FILL?

I struggled to find help with all aspects of homeschooling in one easy-to-follow location. I’ve read many books, articles, Facebook Pages, and blogs. I’ve listened to podcasts, other homeschool families, and YouTube videos. I’ve learned many things and have seen great ideas, but I would like to make those more readily available.
Also, I am in search of finding my community. I want to provide a space where we can all help each other out no matter our physical location.
